About theAnalyst, Office Leasing Advisory
The Office LeasingAdvisoryAnalyst provides analytical and research support to the Office Leasing Advisory team. This role involves financial analysis, market research, database management, and client-facing activities to support successful leasing transactions and revenue generation.
What this job involves:
Conduct detailed analysis of office leasing markets including vacancy rates, absorption trends, rental rates, and new construction pipelines
Track andanalyzesubmarket trends, flight-to-quality patterns, and tenant migration dynamics
Monitor competitive properties and comparable lease transactions
Research economic indicators and employment trends affecting office demand
Gather market and property data, research companies and landlords, conduct market calls, and develop fact sheets, tour books, and floor plans
Maintainaccuratedatabases and stacking plans tracking tenant rosters and lease expiry dates across key buildings
Prepare regular market reports, quarterly summaries, and custom research deliverables
Prepare client reports and presentations, work directly with clients to resolve transaction issues, andparticipatein building tours and conference calls
Review lease documents, prepare summaries and abstracts, andassistwith commission invoicing and transaction tracking
Assistin preparingfinancial analyses including NPV cash flows, evaluate client lease options, and conduct complex financialmodelingunder supervision
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate,Financeor related field
0-2 years' experience in commercial real estate preferred
Strong financial analysis skills andproficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite(Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Excellent research and analytical abilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in teams
Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
