Job Summary

The Revenue Accounting & Project Accounting professional is responsible for managing revenue recognition, project accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities to ensure accurate and timely financial results. This role supports the monthly financial close process, analyzes revenue performance, and partners with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with accounting standards. The individual will oversee project-related financial activities, provide insights through reporting and analysis, and support audit requirements while ensuring strong financial controls and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Revenue Recognition & Compliance:
• Ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with GAAP and ASC 606.
• Review contracts and agreements to determine appropriate revenue treatment.
• Project Accounting:
• Track and monitor project-related costs and revenues.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate billing and revenue forecasting.
• Maintain project accounting records and ensure alignment with financial reporting.
• Support budgeting and variance analysis for ongoing projects.
• Month-End Close Activities:
• Prepare and post revenue-related journal entries.
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Reporting & Analysis:
• Generate and analyze revenue and project reports for management.
• Track revenue trends and provide insights to support strategic decisions.
• Audit & Documentation:
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Maintain accurate records of revenue transactions and adjustments.

• Strong accounting knowledge
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Oracle Cloud and PowerBI is mandatory
