Job Summary

Reports to: Team Leader

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Master Production Scheduler (MPS) to manage production planning activities and ensure alignment between customer demand, material availability, and manufacturing capacity. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Supply & Demand Management, Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Demand Loading, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes. The role requires close collaboration with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, and Customer teams to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Master Production Scheduling

• Develop, maintain, and execute Master Production Schedules based on customer demand forecasts, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity.
• Align production plans with business objectives and customer delivery commitments.
• Monitor schedule attainment and proactively address constraints impacting production.
• Drive production plan optimization to improve delivery performance and inventory

Supply & Demand Management

• Analyze demand signals and collaborate with Demand Planning teams to ensure accurate production planning.
• Balance supply and demand to meet customer requirements while optimizing inventory levels.
• Identify capacity constraints and develop mitigation plans.

Material Management & Material Requirement Planning (MRP)

• Execute and manage MRP activities to ensure timely material availability.
• Review material shortages and develop recovery plans.

Demand Loading & Validation

• Load customer demand forecasts and orders into ERP systems.
• Validate demand inputs for accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze planning exceptions and resolve demand discrepancies.

Engineering Change Order (ECO) Management

• Manage and implement Engineering Change Orders within planning systems.
• Assess the impact of engineering changes on inventory, materials, and production schedules.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams during change implementation.

Bill of Materials (BOM) Management

• Validate and maintain BOM accuracy within ERP systems.
• Analyze BOM structures to support planning and material requirements.
• Partner with Engineering teams to resolve BOM-related issues.
• Support product lifecycle and configuration changes.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Track and analyze planning KPIs.
• Develop reports and dashboards to support operational decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and supply chain performance.
• Support automation and process standardization initiatives.

Skill Requirements

Basic Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Degree in any discipline
• Experience: Min 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Production Planning, or Master Production Scheduling.
• Skills: Strong follow-up, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proficient in Microsoft Office; detail-oriented, collaborative, customer-focused, and quick to adopt AI tools.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
