Job Purpose

The ICE Network Analyst can multitask in a dynamic team-based environment demonstrating problem-solving and decision-making abilities and the highest degree of professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provision/execute network and firewall requests in accordance with security policies
- Assist ICE staff with problem solving and escalation procedures
- Ensure proper follow-up until problem resolution is completed and/or escalated
- Understand and follow operational policies/procedures and promote adherence to same
- Provide technical expertise needed to ensure safe, effective, and efficient changes to the network infrastructure
- Collaborate and work closely with Cybersecurity, Systems engineering, and Datacenter engineering teams
- Support/maintain multiple multi-vendor production network environments critical to the business
Knowledge and Experience
- B.S. in CS/IT or equivalent relative experience
- 2+ years' experience working with stateful packet inspection firewalls
- 2+ years' experience working with layer3 route/switch platforms
- Knowledge of TCP/IP with OSPF and BGP routing
- Knowledge of NAT, route maps/ACLs, and routing policies
- Packet capture analysis skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently on multiple projects
- Ability to differentiate between a critical business impacting incident and a minor problem and resolve/escalate accordingly
Desirable Knowledge and Experience
- Experience working on financial/HFT networks
- Automation/Orchestration and scripting experience
- Firewall certifications
- Routing/switching certifications
- Unix/Linux system administration
