Job Description

The Master Data Management (MDM) team is responsible for approval, validation, and data quality auditing of various master data elements within SWIFT. The team employs various tools and data monitoring routines to perform standard and ad hoc reviews of SWIF master data. The MDM team has a very important role as the accuracy and reliability of master data is critical for establishing accurate financial transactions within the SWIFT system. The team works closely with the Swift Technology Team (STT) to resolve any master data issues. As a member of our MDM team, you will have the opportunity to interact with many groups across the DTTL network to conduct daily job requirements such as:

  • Review client and vendor workflow requests ;
  • Verify consistency between French and English versions of data ;
  • Confirm with local vendors via telephone regarding changes to banking information ;
  • Help manage all aspects of SWIFT master data including Vendor (Third Party, Interfirm, and Employee), Clients, COA, Profit/Cost Center, Bank Master, etc.
  • Perform routine data quality audits across all data elements to ensure accuracy of information and adherence to data quality standards ;
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as required ;
  • Work on special projects to improve service delivery quality and/or operational effectiveness, including standardization of master data across the DTTL network.

Required experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of business applications such as: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Must clearly understand how to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to quickly understand and learn new skills and technologies.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • General understanding of master data and data quality.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities – research, problem solving, attention to detail, etc.
  • Proficient in virtual/remote collaboration.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server (or other databases) is preferred.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in both French and English.

Location based in Casablanca.
