As an Analyst Inventory Management for Target+, you will support a business fueled by data and analytics to deliver merchandising, and Inventory Management, Process improvement on Listing management, Time and Action program with Cross functional Teams, to drive Net GMV (Net Gross Merchandise Value), Capacity utilization & Purchasability improvements by timely assortment maintainace and inventory forecasting capabilities.

1. CFT Partnership: Collaborate locally and globally across teams and Work closely with Merchandising, Item, and Operations to ensure a seamless category experience, incorporating product automations, key item strategy, enhancing overall operational performance and setting up an efficient process. Drive and Manage relationships with product and data science teams to evolve the inventory forecasting capabilities for 3P business.
2. Business & Assortment management Utilize data and analytics to analyze the business category, supporting assortment cleanup, improving purchasability to improve business performance and benchmarking against key marketplace/sellers.
3. Operation Management & Reporting: Enable Business & Partner Reporting data development to do a clinical approach on issues pertaining to out of stock, work stream process gaps and accurate pricing comparison between marketplace competitors.

About you: Three/Four-year degree, B.S. and/or B.A.
  • 3+ years of experience in merchandising, inventory management, forecasting, and product selection (including managing and maintaining an open-to-buy and developing strong business relationships with sellers/vendors and industry leaders).
  • 2+ years managing an ecommerce business, with specific experience related to project management and process optimization, on hand experience on Excel functions, Pivots, SQL preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with strong planning and organizational skills
  • Manages large sets of data with attention to detail to interpret metrics into meaningful business insights and actions.
  • Strong analytical, influential and storytelling skills to build relationships with internal and external partners.
