The Analyst, Maintenance Administration is part of the Workforce Administration team within the Technical Operations division. This role provides the opportunity to step into a more advanced and influential position within Maintenance Administration while working closely with departmental leadership. The analyst plays a key role in ensuring compliance with IAM/TWU Joint Collective Bargaining Agreements and the General Procedures Manual, while also mentoring team members and serving as a backup to the supervisor. Through this work, the role directly supports the efficiency, continuity, and overall success of American Airlines’ Technical Operations organization

• Administers the internal transfer bid, award and compliance clearance processes for all domestic represented team members in accordance with contractual agreements, company policies, federal and governmental regulations
• Utilizes ATAB, Success Factors, current and historical HRIS systems to research and validate current and former team member experience, qualifications and employment history
• Leads the administration of the company’s FAA compliance, verification, and tracking of domestic team members’ FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificates is in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies and procedures
• Collaborates and communicates with Labor Relations, Legal, Tech Ops leaders, Recruiting, HR Compliance, and team members to research and settle contractual and corporate policies, procedures, and employee entitlements
• Partner with Recruiting, HR Compliance and RPO teams to ensure pre-employment compliance clearance and FAA verification completed timely in order to start in new role and/or station based on business needs
• Assists in testing all relevant application programing changes in the internal transfer system, ATAB, and historical HRIS systems
• Coordinates with internal and external support teams and third-party vendors to identify and correct issues identified in the employee movement process
