Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Analyst, Investor Relations, this position is responsible for supporting the Investor Relations function. The role is primarily focused on Investor Relations, while also supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team activities and gaining familiarity with financial systems, processes, and internal reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain exposure to both external financial communication and internal financial planning, developing a well-rounded understanding of how financial performance is analyzed, communicated, and positioned to the market.

Your role

Earnings & Financial Reporting Support:

  • Play an active role in the quarterly earnings process, supporting preparation, coordination, and execution.
  • Assist with IR earnings materials, website updates, and post‑earnings deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate outputs.
  • Contribute to the preparation of internal and external financial reports, including data gathering for the Management’s Discussion & Analysis report.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate production of reports on financial performance and other key metrics.
  • Support the Corporate FP&A team on selected analyses, reporting activities, and ad hoc requests related to internal and external reporting.

Market & Shareholder Intelligence:

  • Analyze and maintain investor, trading, and ownership data used by management and the IR team.
  • Track and interpret analyst estimate changes, ownership movements, and market activity.
  • Support the preparation of internal summaries and materials used for investor engagement and reporting.
  • Maintain IR databases and platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency of information.

Investor Engagement & Capital Markets Exposure:

  • Support investor meetings, conferences, non‑deal roadshows, and site visits.
  • Help prepare briefing materials and background information for management and Board‑level interactions.
  • Gain exposure to institutional investors, sell‑side analysts, and capital markets practices.

IR Operational Support:

  • Manage key IR trackers, calendars, and documentation that support a well‑controlled IR function.
  • Support vendor coordination, invoice processing, automation of certain tasks.
  • Assist with approved IR website and communication updates.

About you

  • An undergraduate university degree in finance, accounting or economics; interest in financial markets.
  • Working towards or completion of a professional designation (CPA, CFA) an asset.
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.) an asset.
  • Exposure to financial statements and basic valuation concepts is an asset.
  • Strong interest in capital markets, financial analysis, and corporate finance.
  • Understand of valuation techniques an asset.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Copilot) and Think-cell.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to concurrently handle multiple assignments with varying priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to track progress and communicate progress to others.
  • Ability to handle confidential and non-routine information.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Solid understanding of relevant social media channels.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and demonstrates initiative.
  • Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.
  • Bilingual (English, French).*
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
