We're seeking a detail-oriented Investment Risk & Analytics Analyst to join our independent analytics team. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in supporting investment risk reporting and monitoring through data preparation, analysis, and dashboarding, working with cutting-edge technology to deliver valuable insights to our Investment and Risk teams.
What You'll Do
• Produce and maintain routine investment analytics and reports
• Develop and maintain Python-based analytics scripts and workflows
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards for stakeholders
• Perform data preparation, validation, and reconciliation
• Support Investment Committee and Board reporting
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives
What You'll Need
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field
• Strong Python programming skills for data analysis
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with data manipulation and validation
• Solid dashboarding and data visualization capabilities
• Version control knowledge (Git/Bitbucket)
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Desirable Skills:
• SQL and cloud-based platform experience
• Power BI or similar visualization tool expertise
• Basic understanding of investment products
• Financial services industry experience
• CFA, FRM, or relevant risk qualifications
