
Position: Analyst III, Functional Applications - Production Planning, Great Lakes Cheese Co. Inc., 17955 Great Lakes Parkway, Hiram, OH 44234
Duties: Provide business system analysis and process design expertise within the Production Planning business functions, turning requirements into system solutions. Perform SAP or other business application configuration as required to support functional requirements. Manage and control implementation of changes without business interruption. Participate and take a leading role within area of expertise of assigned SAP modules. Manage tasks through all project lifecycle phases (Requirements Gathering and Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment and Support) for IT initiatives. Develop detailed functional specifications and work closely with ABAP Developers or software solutions vendors. Work cohesively with Business Process Owners to ensure business process design and supporting SAP configuration and developments are in line with business needs. Document current configuration and maintain proper level of documentation for all changes including specifications and testing documentation. Participate in testing activities including creating test scenarios, cases and scripts, executing unit testing, integration testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing. Provide application maintenance and support by means of timely response to user issues and requests. Create training materials and deliver training to business partners on new processes, functionality, reports and transactions. Design and deploy effective IT solutions. Ensure stability and continuity in IT operations. 10% National Travel.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field. Must have: 3 years of experience with SAP Production Planning modules; 3 years of experience with SAP Production Planning, Discrete Manufacturing and Process Industry (PP-PI), Production and Process Orders, MRP, Sales and Ops Planning, Batch Management, Production Confirmation & backflush, and Pi Sheets; 3 years of experience with PP Master Data, Material Master, BOM, Work Center, Routing, Master Recipes, and Production Versions; 3 years of experience with SAP or other full lifecycle implementation; 3 years of experience with manufacturing and production execution, including planning concepts and standards.
