JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Works with senior analysts and functional managers to define scope and objectives of a wide variety of projects.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Assigned larger portions of project work and provided with latitude to define scope and objectives of own analysis. May develop initial policy recommendations.

Provides leadership to junior analysts related to quality control and data consistency.

Reviews functions and structures of business area to avoid overlapping and duplication.

Manages data documentation using a consistent methodology and nomenclature to ensure that analyses are preserved for future use.

Performs and leads quality control analysis to ensure accuracy and rationale.

Works within the scope and framework of larger projects defined by senior analysts.

Maintain Access databases and create reports in PowerBI.

Project Leadership & Analysis

  • Lead data analysis and research projects for regulatory, customer service, and operational initiatives; define scope and objectives with autonomy to drive recommendations
  • Manage high-impact analysis including rate reviews, compliance calculations, complaint resolution, and executive reporting
  • Provide mentorship to junior analysts on quality assurance, data standards, and process documentation

Stakeholder & Operations Support

  • Support customer-facing and regulatory initiatives including complaint resolution, legal coordination, and executive communications
  • Develop and maintain critical reporting infrastructure using Access databases and PowerBI dashboards
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects including service reporting, compliance tracking, and operational planning

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead quality control reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across analyses
  • Manage documentation standards and data preservation for organizational knowledge
  • Work with senior leadership to optimize processes and eliminate redundancies

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position

Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field required or equivalent work experience. Desired: Master's Degree.

Minimum experience required of the position

Analyst II: 2-4 years of professional experience.

Analyst III: 4-6 years of professional experience.

Analyst Sr: 6 years of professional experience.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position

Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI.

Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position

Python, SQL, Google Analytics, Power Query, Google Analytics, Json
