This position is responsible for analyzing network and Customer Premise Equipment data using NXT, AIMM, and related network analysis tools to proactively identify plant maintenance opportunities. The Analyst I supports network performance improvement initiatives by identifying high-impact work areas, grouping opportunities for efficient field execution, and ensuring data integrity across plant design and operational systems.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze CPE and network performance data using NXT, AIMM, and related platforms to identify proactive plant maintenance opportunities.

  • Identify trends in plant performance metrics including MER, BER, CER, upstream noise, utilization, repeat trouble calls, and other service-impacting indicators.

  • Correlate HFC performance measurements with customer-impacting events to determine root cause and recommend proactive maintenance locations.

  • Prioritize proactive maintenance locations based on data analysis, customer impact, and regional performance metrics.

  • Group work areas to improve field efficiency and reduce repeat truck rolls.

  • Ensure continuous plant improvement within assigned Regions through data-driven recommendations.

  • Perform quality control within Spatial and related design tools to ensure accurate housekey to node relationships and plant connectivity.

  • Validate and correct connectivity data so downstream systems and reporting tools reflect accurate node, service group, and address associations.

  • Provide reporting and data analysis to demonstrate operational efficiency, plant health improvements, and progress toward company goals.

  • Prioritize multiple reporting requests and analytical projects with minimal supervision.

  • Collaborate with Network Operations, Engineering, Field Operations, and other cross-functional teams to support proactive maintenance initiatives.

  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, telecommunications, or related field; or equivalent experience.

  • 1+ years of experience in telecommunications, broadband, or network operations preferred.

  • Working knowledge of NXT, AIMM, Spatial, and other network analysis or plant performance tools preferred.

  • Foundational understanding of HFC performance metrics including MER, BER, CER, signal levels, and upstream noise characteristics.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex network performance data.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to technical and operational teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative, forward-thinking, and proactive in identifying improvement opportunities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced operational environment.

  • Ability to work required days and hours, including second shift as needed.

  • Regular attendance required.
