Job Title

Analyst II, Global Procurement Solutions (GPS) / Buying Desk

The Analyst II, GPS supports global procurement execution and continuous improvement by owning defined workstreams, analysing spend and supplier data, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring procurement processes and deliverables are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement workstream support is delivered end-to-end for assigned categories/projects, including intake, scope clarification, timelines, and follow-through to closure.
  • Spend, supplier, and process data is analysed to identify savings opportunities, compliance gaps, and operational efficiencies.
  • Stakeholder requests are tracked and managed with clear status updates, ETAs, and risk/blocker escalation.
  • Sourcing and contracting activities are supported, including RFx administration, bid tab support, supplier communication, and documentation.
  • Supplier performance tracking is maintained (KPIs, issues, corrective actions) and key insights are summarized for category managers and stakeholders.
  • Procurement systems and tools are used accurately to support intake-to-award workflows and maintain data quality (e.g., requisitions, supplier onboarding support, contract repository updates).
  • Standard operating procedures and templates are followed and improved to simplify recurring procurement activities and reduce cycle time.
  • Cross-functional collaboration is maintained with Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Marketing, R&D, and regional procurement teams as applicable.

  • Strong analytical skills (spend analysis, data interpretation, basic financial acumen)
  • Stakeholder management and clear business communication (written + verbal)
  • High ownership and follow-through; ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Process orientation and attention to detail (documentation, audit readiness, compliance)
  • Problem-solving mindset: ability to flag risks early and propose options

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-6 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain domain preferably from FMCG
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Tools: Advanced Excel; experience with procurement/ERP tools preferred Ariba/SAP
