Job Description

Position: Analyst I EDM

Reports to: Country EDM Lead

As the Country EDM Analyst, you will provide specialized expertise in Employee Data Management (EDM), supporting the EDM Lead to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of employee data processes across the HR Information System (HRIS), with a focus on Workday. You will handle ticket assignments, process critical tickets, conduct audits, and maintain updated process documentation, including Desktop Procedures (DTPs) and Work Instructions. You will also manage escalations, conduct process audits, and support compliance by maintaining process trackers and performing ad hoc audits.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ticket Assignment & Processing: Oversee ticket assignment within the EDM function, handling critical tickets directly and ensuring timely responses. Maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency in addressing employee data issues.
  • Escalation Management & Follow-up: Manage escalations and track their progress, working with the EDM Lead to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and develop action plans to resolve recurring issues.
  • Process Training & Knowledge Sharing: Deliver training to EDM team members on data management processes and HRIS system use, focusing on best practices and protocol adherence. Update training materials to reflect current procedures and enhancements.
  • Audit & Compliance: Conduct regular audits on EDM processes to ensure compliance with internal and external standards, including GDPR where applicable. Support ad hoc audit requests and validate data accuracy in line with regulatory and policy requirements.
  • Update Documentation & Trackers: Maintain and update process documentation, including Desktop Procedures (DTPs) and Work Instructions, ensuring alignment with current practices. Keep process trackers up-to-date to facilitate operational consistency and reporting.
  • Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement within EDM processes, focusing on enhancing control measures, automating tasks, and improving data visibility. Collaborate with the EDM Lead to implement changes that drive process optimization.
  • Service Level Agreement (SLA) Compliance: Support the EDM Lead in validating SLA workbooks and ensuring EDM operations meet or exceed performance metrics. Monitor performance against SLAs and address any gaps proactively.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate with HR, IT, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data flow and accurate employee information. Participate in governance calls (daily, weekly, monthly) and contribute to discussions on process improvements.
  • Customer Centricity: Ensure best-in-class customer satisfaction through regular feedback analysis and implementation of improvement action plans.
  • KHMS: Follow Kraft Heinz Management System program for EDM operations team, ensuring standards and processes are aligned with KHMS playbook.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any stream (Preferably Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field).
  • HRIS certification, particularly in Workday, is preferred.
  • HR or data governance certification is a plus.
  • Continuous improvement certification is a plus.

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Employee Data Management or HRIS operations, with expertise in HRIS applications, preferably Workday.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams and driving performance.
  • Proven experience in managing escalations, audits, and process improvement initiatives within data management.
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations, governance policies, and compliance standards, including GDPR.
  • Experience working in an international/global environment.

  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for interacting with HR stakeholders, employees, and third-party vendors.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with high attention to detail in data management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to conduct audits, evaluate processes, and implement improvements.
  • Proficient in processing documentation and maintaining trackers for consistent operations.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to enhancing operational efficiency and data quality.
