The role involves working closely with system owners and application teams to drive timely remediation while maintaining visibility into vulnerability, patching, and compliance status.

Your key responsibilities

  • Experience administering IBM BigFix and managing enterprise patch deployments.
  • Practical knowledge of vulnerability remediation for Windows and Linux servers.
  • Experience deploying operating system and third-party patches across Windows, Linux, and/or macOS environments.
  • Ability to analyze vulnerability findings, understand risk and prioritize remediation activities.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with infrastructure, application, and system-owner teams.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience developing and maintaining IBM BigFix Fixlets and baselines.
  • Experience creating automation scripts to support patching or vulnerability remediation activities.
  • Exposure to multiple vulnerability management platforms, particularly Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7.
  • Experience preparing security, vulnerability, patching, and compliance dashboards for internal stakeholders or audits.
  • Experience supporting vulnerability and patch management across a mixed Windows, Linux, and macOS environment.

The impact you’ll make

In this role, you will contribute directly to reducing security exposure by helping teams identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across the technology environment.
