Job Description

As a Group Pricing Analyst, Revenue Management (Pricing) at Scoot, you will be responsible for maximizing network revenue from the group travel segment through effective demand management, inventory optimization, and pricing decisions. As part of the Revenue Management team, you will analyze group booking demand, evaluate revenue opportunities, and make recommendations that balance group sales objectives with overall network profitability.

You will drive the performance of the group business by managing tour group demand, monitoring group utilization, and ensuring that group inventory is allocated to the highest-value opportunities. Through data-driven analysis and close collaboration with Sales and Commercial teams, you will identify revenue risks and opportunities, influence booking decisions, and improve commercial outcomes across the network.

In addition, you will review the effectiveness of existing group booking policies and processes, providing recommendations to strengthen revenue optimization, improve inventory controls, and support sustainable growth in the group travel segment.

Responsibilities

Pricing & Revenue Analysis

  • Evaluate group booking requests and recommend appropriate fares based on demand, seasonality, route performance, and revenue impact.

  • Analyze group travel demand and booking patterns to identify revenue opportunities.

  • Assess displacement costs and opportunity costs associated with group bookings.

  • Support pricing decisions that balance revenue optimization and sales objectives.

Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor competitor fares, market trends, and industry developments.

  • Conduct benchmarking analyses to support pricing recommendations.

  • Identify market opportunities and risks affecting group travel performance.

Inventory & Capacity Management

  • Work with Revenue Management teams to assess seat availability for group requests.

  • Support decisions on group allotments and inventory allocations.

  • Monitor the impact of group bookings on route profitability and load factors.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Prepare regular reports on group revenue, booking volumes, yield, and market performance.

  • Track the performance & materialization of accepted group bookings against forecasts.

  • Develop dashboards and analytical insights for management reporting

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with Sales teams on group pricing requests and commercial negotiations.

  • Support travel agency, tour operator, and corporate account opportunities through pricing analysis.

  • Collaborate with Network Planning and Revenue Management teams on demand forecasts and commercial initiatives.

Process Improvement

  • Assist in improving pricing models, tools, and reporting processes.

  • Support automation and data-driven decision-making initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with pricing policies and approval frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Aviation Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, commercial analysis, aviation, or related analytical roles.

  • Experience in the airline industry is preferred but not always required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other data analysis tools is advantageous.

  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

  • Ability to interpret large datasets and communicate insights effectively.

  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
