Supports the grant management cycle by ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely completion of grant activities. The role strengthens organizational performance by validating documentation, monitoring financial and operational progress, and ensuring adherence to federal, local, and internal requirements.
Reviews obligated project worksheets to validate eligible scopes of work and associated costs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with grant requirements.
Validates procurement packages, invoices, and supporting documentation against project worksheet scopes of work to maintain alignment and compliance.
Research and interprets relevant federal, local, and program regulations and policies to support eligibility decisions or denials.
Engages with technical teams to address concerns, clarify requirements, and provide informed recommendations that improve compliance and execution.
Updates the grant management system of records to capture recommendations, status updates, and key documentation for accurate tracking.
Requests information from internal stakeholders to maintain visibility and timely processing of RFR/RFA assignments.
Keeps leadership informed of issues, risks, and resolutions to support effective oversight and decision‑making.
Monitors performance and progress toward grant objectives to support successful program outcomes.
Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.
Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.
Additional Job Description:
Education
Bachelor’s degree Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related area from accredited university.
Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:
Associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 3 years of experience performing a previous Analyst role.
Experience
3 years of experience in grant management process or related fields involving compliance, documentation review or contractual documentation for alignment with scope and eligibility requirements.
Previous experience working with FEMA grant programs preferred
