Our Operations team is responsible for ensuring that the Bank operates with seamless execution, settles a variety of complex financial transactions through data driven decisions, process simplification and automation and by ensuring our internal and external stakeholders needs are met.

Our Global Markets Operations team partners with our sales and product colleagues to play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution and settlement of complex financial transactions. By removing inefficiencies and complexity, we’re responsible for delivering a positive client experience and leading transformational change. It’s challenging, strategically important work, and you’ll continuously innovate to ensure we stay at the forefront of technological industry trends. About the programme

You will be supported and launched into your career through our hands-on graduate programme. During this time, you’ll meet peers and senior executives from across the Group, creating networks that will accelerate your career growth. Our training programme will enable you to develop your technical, business, and interpersonal skills through real-world experience and in-depth training. Future skill development is a key priority for the Bank, and by investing in our Early Careers programmes, we're committed to changing the way banking works for the better.

Graduates who join our programme will go through a learning and development journey before being placed into our operational roles. During this learning journey, we’ll invest in helping you build the skills and capabilities needed to succeed in a career in operations. In this excellent learning environment, we will:

• Provide you with domain knowledge of our products and other technical and meta-skills relevant to being a successful Operations professional of the future.
• Provide opportunities for you to engage with our senior leaders globally, pitch your ideas, and demonstrate your problem-solving skills.
• Assign a mentor to advise you and be a sounding board to support you throughout your journey.
• Help you build relationships as we recognise that your network of contacts is an invaluable asset throughout your career

Preferred skills and experiences

• Exhibits curiosity, resilience and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate analytical and critical skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Effective communication skills in English (both written & verbal).
• Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across diverse teams.
• ⁠Results oriented, attention to detail, and good research abilities.
• ⁠Proficient use of MS Office including MS Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
• Candidates with basic understanding of banking operation & global financial markets will be an added advantage.
• Coding and programming skills will be an added advantage.
• Proactive in community engagement, (e.g volunteering) is preferable.

Eligibility

We welcome students from all degrees with excellent academic records and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds. Students with finance background and/or equipped with solid technical skills will have an added advantage.

You’ll need to be a final year student or a fresh graduate within one year of graduation (graduated in 2025-2026), able to start September 2026, with a permanent legal right to work in the country you’re applying to.

• Bachelor’s Degree holder (less than 1 year’s completion).
• Professional Qualification (ACCA/CIMA) - Completed/Pursuing Level 3 or Masters (less than 1 year’s completion).
• Candidate with less than 2 years of working experience.
