JOB PURPOSE :
We are seeking an experienced Global Privacy Analyst to support and enhance our organisation’s data protection and privacy compliance framework. This role will be responsible for ensuring adherence to global privacy regulations across the EU, UK, United States, APAC, and UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong legal acumen, practical privacy expertise, and hands-on experience managing data protection activities such as PIAs, DPIAs, TIAs, RoPAs, and policy development. This role is based in our India GCC (share capability centre) and will work closely with stakeholders across global business units, legal, security, IT, HR, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Global Privacy & Compliance
Ensure compliance with international data protection laws including GDPR and UK GDPR (EU & UK), CCPA/CPRA (US), PDPA (APAC), UAE PDPL, and other relevant regulations.
Monitor changes in global privacy laws and advise internal teams on required updates or operational impacts.
Provide guidance on cross-border data transfers, SCCs, data localisation, and international processing requirements.
2. Data Protection Impact Activities
Lead and coordinate Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs) for new and existing projects.
Maintain and regularly update Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) for all global business functions.
3. Policy, Process & Governance
Draft, review, and update global privacy policies, notices, and standards.
Support implementation of privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default principles across business operations.
Collaborate with IT and Cyber/ InfoSec teams to ensure alignment between privacy controls and security controls.
4. Incident & Breach Management
Support global teams in managing data incidents, including investigation, documentation, and remediation.
5. Contracts & Training
Support delivery of training, awareness programs, and privacy communication across global offices.
Engage with vendors and third-parties to conduct privacy due diligence and contract reviews (e.g., Data Processing Agreements, SCCs).
6. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare compliance reports and documentation for leadership and regulatory readiness reviews.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, or related field; legal background preferred.
Experience in data protection, privacy compliance, or legal compliance roles.
Experience working in multinational organisations or handling multi-jurisdictional privacy matters.

Technical & Professional Skills:
Strong understanding of:
GDPR (EU & UK)
CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA (US, where applicable)
PDPA (Singapore), PDPB/DPDP Act (India)
UAE PDPL
Hands-on experience with PIAs, DPIAs, RoPA, data mapping and privacy risk identification.
Experience with privacy management tools (e.g., OneTrust, similar) is an advantage.
Strong drafting skills for policies, notices, and legal assessments.
Certifications (Nice-to-Have)
