About the Position
The Supply Planner supports the end-to-end supply planning process by translating demand signals into production and distribution plans that help ensure product availability while balancing inventory levels, capacity utilization, and service targets. The role monitors key constraints and risks, identifies gaps and improvement opportunities, and coordinates day-to-day alignment across Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Materials Planning, Procurement, Deployment, and Logistics to keep supply plans accurate, executable, and on track
In brief, you will be responsible for
Supply Planning & Execution
Develop and maintain short-, mid-, and long-term supply plans by translating demand signals into feasible network supply plans ensuring updated demand, capacity, and inventory inputs are considered.
Monitor service level performance (CFR) and inventory health through daily follow-up on plant performance and network inventory levels, driving actions and escalating availability or waste risks as needed.
Inventory Management
Monitor network inventory KPIs (Days of Inventory, slow/excess inventory, and obsolescence risk) and support actions that protect service targets by flagging stockout and excess inventory risks and coordinating follow-up with relevant teams.
Support long-range inventory planning for peak demand periods and seasonal operating constraints by maintaining monthly capacity inputs, tracking plant shift/crewing updates, and escalating gaps that could impact inventory health.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Demand Planning to review forecast updates, understand demand variability, and assess supply implications.
Collaborate with MRP and Procurement to secure raw materials, monitor constraints, and mitigate supply risks.
Align with Manufacturing to translate demand into production plans that factor in capacity and scheduling constraints.
Coordinate with Deployment and Logistics to enable on-time distribution and balanced inventory placement across the network.
Risk Management & Problem Solving
Identify and flag potential supply risks, document impacts, and support mitigation planning with relevant partners.
Support short-term recovery plans during supply disruptions by updating supply plans, tracking actions, and escalating critical gaps.
Monitor capacity, material, and transportation constraints, maintaining exception lists and coordinating follow-up to reduce service and inventory risk.
Planning Governance & IBP
Participate in S&OE / IBP cycles by preparing supply inputs, updating scenarios, and supporting supply insights for cross-functional discussions.
Prepare data and standard analysis for Supply Review and leadership updates, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Maintain planning parameters and master data, completing regular checks and coordinating corrections with system owners as needed.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and document opportunities to improve supply planning processes, tools, and KPI tracking, sharing findings with the team.
