The Fraud Team is focusing on technology solutions to prevent fraud and financial risks.The team is responsible formonitoring, controlling, and ensuring compliance with international standards. It offers a dynamic and challenging environment where you can collaborate with experts to make a real impact on the financial system.

TheFullstackEngineer will work as part of our Innovation Engineering team who help bring theseinnovationtopics to lifetotest our key hypotheses, across exciting topics such asgenerative AI, climate innovation, digital assets, openbankingand new forms of payments. This primarily involves building small scale, time bound production incubations,leveragingmany of NAB’s existing technologycomponents

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with other NAB’s technology leaders towards improving and fulfilling the NAB technicaldirection;

• Design, develop, review, implement, and manage React.js application code and services for the production and pre-releaseenvironments;

• Participate in Agile software development, prototyping, and code review with international development teams to build scalable microservices-basedproducts;

• Understand the requirements of the customer or business andutilizethis knowledge to develop applications that are consistent withthis;

• Work with delivery teams to achieve success through development using CI/CD and DevOps practices, processesandtooling;

• Provide robust coding practices, solid unit/component test coverage, and debugging code.

• Freedom to make architectural and code-level decisions about thecomponentyou are working on. High level solution architecture decisions will be provided.

• Peer reviews of others code, and the ability to recommend changes and challengedecisions

• Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

•  3years’ + experience working in Software DevelopmentFullstackEngineer

•  Solid experience in JavaScript ES6/TypeScript working with React.js or similar technologies (Angular.js, Vue.js);

• Strong foundationin Computer Science, particularly with scalable, maintainable systems.

• Expert in all areas of web development (HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Foundation,JQuery, JSON) including accessibility and security concerns;

• Ability to design React applications using layoutmanagement

• Ability to leveragedeveloper tooling, and CI/CD pipelines to deployartefacts

• Ability to build BFF components (NodeJS)

• Experience in Cloud computing and Amazon Web Services

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs design (GraphQLdesirable) and Microservices-basedsystem;

• Strong understanding of standard Software Engineering processes, Testing, and Agilemethodology;

• Well-versed in writing structured, well-documented, maintainable, and cleancode;

• Strong English communication skills (both verbal & written), especially in the global software development environment.

• Experience in using front-end testing and test runners (eg.Selenium, Mocha/Chai/Jest). 

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in backenddevelopment, JAVA 8+

• Experience in designing & developing RESTful APIs and complex microservices based system; troubleshooting and debugging in microservice
