Job Description

About the role:

The FP&A Analyst, Sourcing (Western Europe), plays a critical role in supporting financial planning, performance tracking, and decision-making for the Western Europe Sourcing team. The role partners closely with the Senior FP&A Analyst and Finance Business Partner (FBP) to deliver accurate monthly results, rolling forecasts, and global consolidation outputs.
The analyst is responsible for ensuring data integrity across systems, supporting Power BI reporting, and collaborating with Digital and cross-functional teams to resolve data discrepancies. This role also contributes to senior management reporting through high-quality analytics and presentation materials.

Key responsibilities include:

Financial Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Calculate and validate monthly raw material profitability results for Western Europe
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation of financial data across systems

Forecasting & Planning

  • Support monthly rolling forecasts for raw material profitability, working closely with Senior Analyst and FBP
  • Assist in budget and forecast cycles, including data preparation, validation, and variance analysis

Global Consolidation

  • Support Senior FP&A Analyst in monthly global sourcing results consolidation, ensuring timely and accurate submissions

Data Governance & Digital Collaboration

  • Act as key interface with Digital/IM teams to investigate and resolve data discrepancies
  • Drive continuous improvement in data quality, automation, and process efficiency

Reporting & Business Partnering

  • Support Western Europe FBP in preparing senior management presentations, including insights and storyline development
  • Deliver structured analytics and actionable insights to support business decision-making

Power BI & Analytics

  • Maintain and update Power BI dashboards, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and usability
  • Contribute to enhancement of reporting tools and analytics capabilities

Cross-functional Collaboration & Projects

  • Work cross-functionally with Sourcing, Risk, Treasury, Pricing, and Digital teams
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and transformation initiatives impacting sourcing finance
  • Contribute to process harmonization and automation initiatives

About You:

  • Higher education: Bachelor in Accounting or Business Administration (Finance); Master degree will be a plus
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Required Strong analytical skills supported by very strong capabilities in MS Office & SAP R/3, B/W & B/O, Analytics systems i.e. POWER BI
  • Experience with managing big datasets and ensure accuracy of reports is a key consideration for this position
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, strong collaboration skills
  • Organizational agility
