
This role acts as an integral part of the financial/strategic planning team by providing analytical support to all internal operating departments. Performs research and analysis of the competitive environment. Assists in all areas of the annual Budget, and Long-Range Plan preparation, as well as preparation of monthly financial and operational reports.
Supports function of the Financial Analyst III and Department Manager.
Coordinates competitive information base.
Organizes data residing in the Financial Planning Dept.
Able to retrieve needed data from a variety of sources, including, but not limited to the casino system, and SDS system.
Works with operating departments to help Department on a day-to-day basis.
Assists as needed in preparing budgets, operating reviews, and financial packages for presentation.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
Communicates clearly both orally and thorough written analysis, charts and graphs.
Fluent in use of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Access, Word and PowerPoint).
Able to quickly learn other IT software.
Knowledge of makeup of financial statements.
Familiar with general financial principles including but not limited to the concepts of net present value, internal rate of return, return on investment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Must work well with multi-functional work teams and be willing to take initiative.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is required.
Knowledge of gaming industry is preferred.
Two years work experience in this or related field.
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.

Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated and able to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized.
Salary: $60k per year
Preference is given to qualified Rincon tribal members and members of other federally recognized tribes.
