Job Description

As our highly valued Analyst, Finance Business Partner based in Brisbane your role will be to provide foundational support to the Finance team. Your focus is on producing accurate data, maintaining financial models, and supporting reporting and planning processes.
You will build an understanding of how the bank operates financially, including revenue streams and cost drivers, while developing core finance and analytical skills.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering data and updating templates
• Prepare standard reports and assist with variance analysis
• Perform month-end activities including basic reconciliations and journal support
• Maintain and update financial models and datasets
• Assist in monitoring costs and tracking performance against budget
• Support preparation of financial commentary with guidance from senior team members
• Work with finance colleagues to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Provide basic financial analysis to support decision-making
• Assist with ad hoc analysis and administrative finance tasks

Do things differently with us

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• 0–2 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Exposure to financial reporting, accounting, or data analysis (desirable)
• Experience with Excel or similar tools
• Interest in banking or financial services (desirable)

Your qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related discipline
• Working towards a professional qualification (CPA, CA, CIMA) is advantageous but not required
