The opportunity

The Analyst, Finance plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This includes preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts across multiple entities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The analyst will monitor variances, investigate discrepancies, and provide timely updates to management. In addition, the role supports financial reporting by compiling monthly and quarterly reporting packages, performing variance analysis and contributing commentary. This position sits within the Financial Reporting Department, reporting to the Director, Finance.

The Role

  • Ensure timely completion of the month‑end close cycle by delivering intercompany reconciliations by Wednesday and finalizing all other supply chain entries by Thursday following the Sunday close.
  • Execute intercompany reconciliations, including journal entry review, discrepancy resolution, and elimination of differences, while partnering with cross‑functional teams to clear outstanding items.
  • Manage freight accruals by recording and reconciling transportation and logistics costs, analyzing variances, and resolving discrepancies to maintain accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee duty accrual activities by monitoring accounts, investigating variances, and coordinating with the Corporate Customs and Trade team to address assessments, refunds, and other exceptions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly financial reporting through the preparation of reporting packages and variance analysis, delivering insights that support decision‑
  • Support audit and compliance requirements by preparing reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation for internal, external, and compliance audits.

The requirement

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years’ experience in accounting or financial reporting, including month‑end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Currently pursuing a professional accounting designation (e.g., ACCA or equivalent)
  • Ability to operate effectively in an international, multi‑entity environment
  • Experience executing intercompany reconciliations
  • Proficiency with OneStream, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), and SharePoint
