Job Description

The Equity Middle Office Analyst will work closely with traders, sales teams, and external counterparties to monitor and resolve trade discrepancies, manage settlement processes, and support a variety of equity‑related products. This client‑facing role offers hands‑on exposure to domestic and international equity markets, ETFs, options, DMA, FX, and ADR conversions, providing a solid foundation for a career in trading operations within a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

  • Assist with front‑to‑back trade processing, including trade breaks, allocations, and settlement inquiries.
  • Collaborate with traders, sales, and counterparties to ensure accurate trade capture and timely discrepancy resolution.
  • Monitor daily equity, ETF, and options activity across domestic and international markets.
  • Support operational tasks related to ADR conversions, preferred securities, DMA, and FX transactions.
  • Participate in DTC/NSCC settlement processing and work with clearing teams to resolve exceptions.
  • Gain exposure to corporate actions and assess their impact on equity positions.
  • Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing operational risk.
  • Provide ad‑hoc analytical support to trading desks and management as needed.
  • Maintain documentation of workflows and exception handling procedures.
  • Develop proficiency in relevant trading and operations systems, such as Fidessa.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated interest in equity markets, trading, and financial operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with trading or operations platforms is a plus.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to problem resolution.
  • Basic understanding of settlement cycles and market conventions.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
