and Responsibilities

The Engine Supplier Management team manages complex engine & material maintenance contracts with suppliers, as well as managing Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services for customers. The Analyst works to support maintenance services for United and MRO customers. The Analyst is directly responsible to perform routine reporting for analysis and metrics of shop turnaround times, volume impact, contract and budgetary requirements to support the operation and organizational goals. The Analyst is also responsible for managing material processes within the organization, including salvage, surplus, and material recall activities.

  • Perform routine reporting for analysis and metrics of shop turnaround times, volume impact, contract and budgetary requirements
  • Maintain and distribute daily metrics and reports per organizational contract requirements
  • Track & report daily, weekly, and monthly shop metrics including shop productions and inductions
  • Manage material processes within the organization, including salvage, surplus, and material recall activities
  • Track and manage part movement between process steps
  • Support customer contract requirements, including invoicing
  • Track and report status on key project initiatives

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineering or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • 2 - 4 years of operational or analytical experience
  • Ability to work in fast pace operational shop environment
  • Ability to prioritize and make decisions
  • Perform with limited to moderate supervision
  • Make recommendations to existing processes to help streamline work and efficiency
  • Travel up to 15%
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Knowledge of Foundry/Palantir, and skill in programming for various tasks, including data analysis, building applications
  • Project management skills and knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques


The base pay range for this role is $66,500.00 to $86,616.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
