The Role

In this role, you will support Kyndryl's Corporate Strategy team on initiatives that influence growth, investment priorities, business performance, and enterprise transformation. You will work with strategy leaders, Managing Consultants, business teams, finance partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather insights, structure analyses, and prepare materials that support executive decision-making.

As an Analyst, you will help turn complex business questions into clear, fact-based insights. You will conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, customer and industry analysis, financial analysis, and internal business performance reviews to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and implications for Kyndryl. Your work will support strategic planning, growth initiatives, business case development, investment discussions, and transformation priorities across the enterprise.

A core part of your role will be developing executive and board-level narratives. You will help synthesise data, research, and stakeholder inputs into clear presentations, decision materials, briefing notes, charts, and leadership-ready recommendations. You will contribute to storylines that help senior leaders understand key issues, evaluate options, and make informed decisions.

You will also support execution by tracking actions, analysing progress, preparing updates, and helping ensure teams remain aligned around priorities and outcomes. While this role does not require deep subject-matter expertise from day one, it does require curiosity, strong analytical capability, attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple and compelling way.

Your Future at Kyndryl

As an Analyst in Corporate Strategy at Kyndryl, you will join Kyndryl's Global Strategy Team and work alongside experienced strategy professionals, consultants, business leaders, finance teams, offering teams, and cross-functional subject matter experts.

You will build practical experience in corporate strategy, market analysis, financial modelling, business case development, executive communication, and strategic programme support. Through exposure to enterprise-level priorities, senior leadership discussions, and high-impact strategy projects, you will develop the skills, confidence, and business judgement needed to grow into more advanced strategy roles over time.


Who You Are

You are an early-career strategy, consulting, finance, business analysis, or research professional with strong analytical skills and a desire to build a career in corporate strategy. You are intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data, research, and business information to develop insights that support decision-making.

You enjoy solving ambiguous business problems, breaking complex topics into clear workplans, and translating analysis into structured outputs. You are comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint, can build clear slides and charts, and can communicate findings in a concise and professional manner. You may not yet be a deep subject-matter expert, but you bring strong learning agility, sound judgement, and the ability to quickly understand new markets, business models, and strategic topics.

You are collaborative and proactive, able to work effectively with colleagues across functions, geographies, and levels of the organisation. You have a growth mindset, are open to feedback, and are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to high-impact work that supports Kyndryl's strategic direction.


Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience

  • MBA degree; advanced degree is not required but may be an advantage.
  • 4+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, business analysis, finance, market research, competitive intelligence in the IT / techonolofy industry.
  • Strong ability to conduct market research, business research, competitive analysis, industry benchmarking, and trend analysis.
  • Ability to analyse business and financial data, identify key insights, and translate findings into clear implications for strategy and decision-making.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills, including comfort with financial analysis, business case inputs, scenario analysis, data interpretation, and performance metrics.
  • Strong PowerPoint and executive communication skills, including the ability to create clear, well-structured slides, charts, storylines, briefing notes, and leadership-ready presentations.
  • Structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous questions, define analytical approaches, and synthesise information from multiple sources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity, accuracy, and executive-level polish.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and support senior team members on fast-moving strategic initiatives.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with stakeholders across business units, finance, offerings, sales, delivery, and corporate functions.
  • Interest in technology services, cloud, digital transformation, infrastructure, cybersecurity, AI, or enterprise technology markets.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience at a consulting firm, corporate strategy team, technology company, financial services firm, research organisation, investment team, or business analytics function.
  • Exposure to technology services, IT infrastructure, cloud, software, cybersecurity, managed services, telecom, or digital transformation markets.
  • Experience supporting executive presentations, board materials, leadership updates, strategy documents, or investment memos.
  • Familiarity with business case development, financial modelling, market sizing, competitor benchmarking, customer analysis, or strategic planning.
  • Experience working with large datasets, dashboards, business performance reports, or financial metrics.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and other presentation tools.
  • Strong interest in developing expertise in corporate strategy.
