Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Analyst – Corporate Actions will support the execution and coordination of complex corporate action events including mergers & acquisitions, entity restructures and hierarchy updates. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple dependencies in a fast-paced environment to ensure accurate Day 1 implementation across internal systems.

What will you do?

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute corporate action events including mergers & acquisitions, entity restructures, and hierarchy updates across internal systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established workflows and controls.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders including Client Intelligence, Credit Risk, KYC, and Operations to align requirements, validate data, and drive timely implementation.

  • Identify and escalate key dependencies such as pending approvals, hierarchy gaps, and system constraints to mitigate risks and ensure Day 1 readiness.

  • Maintain and update legal, credit, and Managed By hierarchies while ensuring consistency across downstream systems including reference data, trading, and settlement platforms.

  • Support process improvement initiatives by contributing to workflow enhancements, control frameworks, and tracking mechanisms to improve team efficiency and visibility.

  • Maintain and analyze client and account data within reference base systems, trading-based systems, and settlement-based systems to support accuracy and compliance.

  • Support onboarding and development of new team members by providing guidance on corporate action workflows, processes, and best practices.

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and dependencies simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

  • Proactive problem-solving and ability to escalate issues appropriately.

  • Proficiency with systems and tools used in corporate actions workflows.

  • Willingness to learn and contribute to process improvements.

  • Ability to use BI tools & strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
