Description

This position supports the Configuration Management & Technical Records team by implementing department procedures and controls for assigned functional areas or fleet types in accordance with FAA regulations, the GMM, Department Operating Procedures, and applicable company policies. The role is responsible for establishing, updating, auditing, and maintaining accurate mainframe maintenance forecasts and compliance records. It ensures transactions, records, and status reports are complete, accurate, and retained in accordance with regulatory, corporate, and departmental requirements.

Job overview and responsibilities

  • Implement department procedures and controls in accordance with FAA Part 121 regulations, GMM, Department Operating Procedures, and applicable corporate policies for assigned functional area or fleet type
  • Establish, update, audit, and maintain accurate mainframe maintenance forecasts, task limits, and configuration tracking records based on approved Engineering or Maintenance Programs instructions
  • Ensure maintenance compliance records, mainframe transactions, and status reports are complete, accurate, and retained in alignment with FAA, corporate, and departmental retention requirements
  • Manage receipt, accountability, audit, and retention of paper and electronic maintenance compliance records for assigned airframes, engines, assemblies, or components
  • Coordinate records and status reporting for recurring inspections, deferrals, audits, aircraft exits, data migrations, and internal or external records requests
  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies so database systems accurately reflect the actual configuration, condition, and maintenance or inspection status of aircraft, assemblies, and components
  • Partner with internal departments and cross-functional groups on projects and initiatives involving or affecting aircraft records and maintenance compliance data

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent aviation maintenance experience
  • Aviation Maintenance, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Applicable hands-on experience with FAA/DGCA records, recordkeeping regulations, maintenance compliance records, and company maintenance mainframe tracking systems and reports
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification; legally authorized to work in India without sponsorship
  • Knowledge of FAA/DGCA records and recordkeeping regulations
  • Experience with maintenance mainframe tracking systems and reports
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across work groups
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities based on operational needs
  • Reliable, punctual attendance
  • Ability to support operational calls during weekends and national holidays, as required by business needs
  • Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and prompt writing
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken

  • Additional aviation, technical records, or maintenance planning coursework/certification
  • 4+ years of airline maintenance recordkeeping experience
  • FAA/DGCA records or aviation maintenance records training/certification preferred
  • Experience supporting aircraft exits, FAA audits, data migrations, deferrals, recurring inspections, or external records requests
  • Advanced proficiency in maintenance records analysis, status reporting, and database reconciliation
