As an Individual Contributor, this role supports the implementation and maintenance of compliance programs by contributing to monitoring, policy development, and risk assessment activities. This position helps ensure regulatory adherence while supporting issue identification and resolution through analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
Compliance Review and Monitoring: Assists in reviewing and monitoring consumer-facing products and services to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. Supports identification of compliance gaps and contributes to reporting outputs.
Risk Assessment and Testing: Participates in periodic risk assessments and related testing activities to evaluate compliance risks and control effectiveness. Assists in documenting findings and supporting issue resolution.
Policy and Program Support: Contributes to the development and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and training materials. Helps ensure content reflects current regulatory expectations and supports employee understanding.
Regulatory Documentation Review: Reviews marketing materials, disclosures, and customer-facing documents to support compliance with applicable laws and internal standards.
Audit and Examination Support: Assists in preparing materials for audits and regulatory examinations and maintains documentation of compliance activities and records.
Bachelor’s degree in related field. Equivalent work experience or certification(s) may be considered in lieu of degree.
Level is dependent on years of experience and size/complexity of prior positions held.
Minimum 2 years of experience in legal or regulatory compliance, or a related field.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Intermediate knowledge and skill proficiency in analytical thinking, problem solving, results driven, and risk analysis.
Basic knowledge and skill proficiency in bank acumen, business acumen, continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, customer experience, laws and regulations, and regulatory compliance.
