Visa Global Services Inc. (VGSI) is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support onboarding, due diligence, investigations, monitoring, and other compliance risk management activities for Visa Stablecoin Platform (VSP) and related digital asset initiatives.

This role will work closely with the Director of Crypto, AML & Sanctions and support the onboarding and ongoing KYC/KYB oversight of clients for stablecoin products. The successful candidate will perform KYC, KYB, sanctions, adverse media, and enhanced due diligence reviews while helping to build and scale compliance processes that support a growing global stablecoin business.

The ideal candidate brings experience from a regulated financial institution, fintech, payments company, or cryptocurrency business and can effectively navigate ambiguity, evolving risk tolerances, and changing regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Due Diligence & Onboarding:

  • Perform KYC, KYB, beneficial ownership, sanctions screening and customer due diligence reviews.
  • Conduct enhanced due diligence reviews for higher-risk customers.
  • Review corporate documentation, ownership structures, licensing information, and regulatory documentation.
  • Identify and escalate potential compliance risks and concerns.
  • Evaluate customer risk profiles and support onboarding recommendations.

Screening & Investigations:

  • Perform sanctions, watchlist, PEP, adverse media, and other screening reviews.
  • Investigate alerts and potential compliance concerns.
  • Analyze customer activity and supporting documentation.
  • Escalate unusual or high-risk findings as appropriate.
  • Prepare and support requests for information (RFIs) and customer outreach activities.

Compliance Operations:

  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready case files.
  • Support quality assurance and quality control activities.
  • Support regulatory readiness, audit, and documentation efforts..
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Support customer onboarding, due diligence, monitoring, investigations, and other compliance risk management activities in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and risk frameworks.

Digital Asset Compliance Support:

  • Support onboarding and ongoing reviews of digital asset businesses.
  • Assist with reviews involving stablecoins, exchanges, custodians, payment providers, fintechs, and other digital asset participants.
  • Leverage blockchain analytics and compliance tools to support investigations and due diligence activities.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging cryptocurrency risks, typologies, and regulatory developments.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Required Qualifucations:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in AML, KYC, KYB, EDD, sanctions, onboarding, investigations, compliance operations, or financial crimes compliance.
  • Experience conducting KYC, KYB, onboarding, or due diligence reviews at a regulated cryptocurrency, digital asset, fintech, payments, money movement, or financial services firm.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and investigative capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate effectively with ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and escalate appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, Merkle Science, or similar investigative platforms.
  • CAMS, CFE, CFCS, ICA, or similar certification.
  • Spanish and English language proficiency.
