This role can be based in either the Abidjan or Dakar Resident Office.
The Analyst, Communications supports the delivery, quality, effectiveness and impact of the Bank’s communications by providing specialist analytical, editorial or programme‑focused support within a defined area of Communications.
Working under guidance, the role contributes to the production, measurement and improvement of communications outputs across internal and external channels. The Analyst applies strong attention to detail, professional judgement and technical or subject‑matter skills to support high‑quality communications delivery in a complex, multinational environment.
The Communications Analyst supports communications activities across media, digital channels and internal channels, helping to promote the EBRD’s work in sub-Saharan Africa. The role focuses on content creation, campaign delivery, media engagement and monitoring, and stakeholder engagement in coordination with central Communications teams, requiring strong organisational skills, creativity and initiative.
The Communications function leads the Bank’s corporate communications, safeguarding its reputation and brand while advancing strategic priorities through effective engagement with internal and external audiences.
Analysts play an essential role in supporting this work by providing specialist input, whether through editorial production, communications performance analysis, or programme‑level communications and visibility. The role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and confidence working with data, systems, content or stakeholders, depending on the assigned specialism.
