About the Role
Responsible for business analyst task
Roles and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Technical Analysis
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Understand system workflows, data flows, and application behavior
Document as-is and to-be processes, including system interactions and dependencies
2. Requirements & Solution Design
Gather and define functional and basic technical requirements
Prepare user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
Work with developers to clarify requirements and ensure alignment
3. System & Data Understanding
Assist in analyzing system integrations, APIs, and data structures
Support identification of data requirements, mappings, and validation rules
Help troubleshoot issues by analyzing system behavior and logs (basic level)
4. Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams
Facilitate requirement discussions, workshops, and walkthrough sessions
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on deliverables
5. Testing & Quality Assurance
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system testing
Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and validate system outputs
Ensure delivered solutions meet business and functional requirements
6. Documentation
Produce and maintain documents such as BRD, Functional Specs, system flows, and SOPs
Maintain clear and structured documentation for future reference
Job Requirements:
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field
Technical Skills (Basic / Learning Level)
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Basic knowledge of:
APIs / system integration concepts
Data handling (Excel, SQL basics is a plus)
System workflows and logic
Tools (Preferred)
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Excel, Visio, and Visual Studio Code (VS Code) is an advantage
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication (able to explain technical concepts simply)
Attention to detail and structured thinking
Willingness to learn and adapt
Preferred (Optional)
Internship or academic project involving system analysis, coding, or IT projects
Exposure to Agile/Scrum ways of working
