As a Supply Chain Business Analyst, you’ll analyze supply chain data, identify opportunities to improve operational performance, and support initiatives that optimize cost, quality, inventory, and delivery. You’ll work with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, finance, and other stakeholders to translate data into actionable business insights and process improvements.

What you’ll do:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and report on supply chain KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Analyze supply chain processes and recommend improvements that support cost efficiency, quality, inventory performance, and on-time delivery.
  • Support the implementation of supply chain systems, technologies, processes, and best practices in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct cost and supplier performance analyses across transportation, warehousing, procurement, and inventory activities.
  • Lead or support supply chain projects focused on improving efficiency, reducing lead times, and achieving defined project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and external suppliers to resolve operational issues and support business requirements.
  • Prepare and present reports, analyses, and recommendations to supply chain and business stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in supply chain analysis, business analysis, operations analysis, or a related analytical role.
  • At least 3 years of experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including functions, pivot tables, data manipulation, or equivalent capabilities.
  • Experience developing or maintaining business, operational, or supply chain reports and performance metrics.
  • Experience working with an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, or an equivalent enterprise resource planning platform.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing data to identify process, cost, inventory, procurement, logistics, or operational improvement opportunities.
  • Experience collaborating with at least two cross-functional business functions, such as procurement, operations, manufacturing, logistics, or finance.
  • Experience preparing analytical findings or recommendations for management or business stakeholders.

Desired Skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Power BI or an equivalent business intelligence and data visualization platform to create dashboards and reports.
  • Working knowledge of supply chain functions, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, demand planning, and supplier management.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, MRO, or other complex operational environment.
  • Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or other structured process-improvement methodologies.
  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, or another recognized supply chain certification.
  • Experience supporting supplier performance analysis, sourcing activities, cost analysis, or supplier negotiations.
  • Experience managing or supporting projects involving process improvements, systems implementations, data analysis, or operational performance.
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings through clear written reports, presentations, dashboards, and stakeholder discussions.
