Purpose:
The Billing Third Party Analyst is expected to deliver operational and control excellence by performing billing and reconciliation activities with a high degree of diligence thus ensuring accurate financial reporting and sound working capital.
Accountabilities:
The role will have a mix of deliverables primarily covering invoice billing and balance sheet reconciliation and reporting to ensure that business transactions are accounted for in compliance with Shell and external accounting guidelines. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

Global Billing Operations in Finance Operations supports various Shell businesses including Retail, Shell Fleet Solutions, and Aviation, and operates out of two main hubs in SBO Manila and Krakow. Our process aims to be recognized as credible and competent business partners, enabling sustainable operational excellence, passionately inspiring and developing future leaders.
The Global Billing 3rd Party team supports at least 100+ Market Units and these entities are divided amongst the team based on volume of transactions and complexity. Each Analyst is expected to effectively serve as a back-up of each other thus gaining exposure in different business areas in Downstream, Upstream, and Chemicals, as well as gaining hands-on experience in multiple ERPs such as GSAP P94, Blueprint P16, Chemicals P31, Trading and Supply P80, and S4HANA.

The Billing Third Party portfolio involves high transaction volumes covering 5 different business areas (Downstream, Chemicals, Upstream, Trading & Supply, and Renewables Energies Solution) and 5 different ERPs (GSAP P94, Blueprint P16, Chemicals P31, Trading & Supply P80, and S4HANA). There are certain differences in the controls among the different ERPs thus a high degree of diligence is required for this role.
There are certain countries that involve peculiarities in handling certain transactions thus keen attention to detail is necessary for this role.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Finance, or any closely-related course
Experience in SAP (required)
Analytical skills and keen attention to detail
Stakeholder management skill
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Effective time management and organizational skills and able to independently set priorities
Able to adapt to new or changing circumstances and ambiguous or pressured situations
