The Associate Professional, Record to Report (RTR) performs routine accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close activities to ensure the accurate recording, processing, and reporting of financial transactions. The role supports the preparation of financial information used for internal and external reporting, enabling effective business decision-making while maintaining compliance with accounting policies, financial controls, statutory requirements, and reporting standards.
Under close supervision, this role collaborates with business teams, finance stakeholders, and shared service partners to execute standard RTR processes, maintain data integrity, support compliance and audit activities, and continuously improve operational efficiency and reporting effectiveness.
Performs routine accounting activities, including processing journal entries and intercompany transactions, completing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, performing balance sheet reconciliations and reporting activities, tax accounting support, cost and profit center allocations.
Supports monthly and annual financial close processes by monitoring close schedules, preparing reconciliations, investigating account variances, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely completion of reporting deliverables in accordance with established timelines.
Maintains standard operating procedures and processes and helps monitor compliance with financial transaction recording standards, company accounting policies, statutory regulations, internal controls, and tax requirements to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Supports positive relationships with internal customers, business partners, and finance stakeholders by responding to inquiries, providing financial information, and delivering accurate and timely accounting and reporting services.
Applies knowledge of accounting processes, internal controls, and operational practices to identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and continuous improvement. Supports initiatives that enhance process efficiency, reporting quality, and data integrity.
