Proposed designation - Associate Consultant
KPMG Global Services (KGS) Deal Advisory & Strategy (DA&S) team offers advisory support across deal life cycle space and provides services on aspects preceding and succeeding a deal. Our service networks assess deal demands by carrying out due diligence both from the buy-side and the sell-side perspectives.
Roles & responsibilities
•Work on engagements related to various types of Securitization like Commercial Mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and Residential Mortgage-backed securities (RMBS)
•Perform due diligence (loan file reviews) by comparing loan documentation with client data for accuracy
•Perform stratification calculations and legal document reviews
Prepare client deliverables (agreed-upon procedures report) and working papers supporting our findings

This role is for you if you have the following:
Educational qualifications
•MBA / CA / Master’s in Finance, Economics, or related field
Work experience
•1–1.5 years of experience in securitization, structured finance, document review, credit analysis, or capital markets
Mandatory technical & functional skills
•Basic understanding of securitization market, understanding of regulatory standards relating to structured products
•Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, business writing/verbal communication skills
•Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task many activities
•Strong knowledge of MS Excel
•Strong capability in document review and analysis
Preferred technical & functional skills
•Strong command of MS Excel, covering pivot tables, lookup functions (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP), index match, complex formulas, dashboards, and financial modelling
•Strong expertise in document analysis and review
