This Position is responsible for providing financial and data-driven insights that support sales strategy, revenue growth, pricing decisions, customer profitability, and business performance. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with advanced analytical skills, leveraging large datasets, business intelligence tools, and statistical analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across customers, products, regions, and channels.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare, coordinate, and review financial forecasts and analysis (sales, margin, departmental and capital budgets) in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Partner with Central Finance to support activities related to month-, quarter- and year-end closing.
  • Act as the liaison between the product business teams and sales team to capture, analyze and report out data as needed.
  • Extract, cleanse, validate, and analyze large datasets from ERP, CRM, and financial systems.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate business performance and key insights.
  • Utilize statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, customer behavior, and growth opportunities.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support sales, pricing, customer profitability, and business strategy.
  • Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy.

Knowledge

  • Strong working knowledge in cost accounting systems and techniques.
  • Strong background in data analytics, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Knowledge of data warehouses, data extract tools, report writing applications and other accounting-related software applications.

Skills

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Specifically Excel and Power Point).
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Experience with Workday
  • Ability to effectively communicate financial insights and performance updates to business partners and leadership.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Pursues training or experiences for self-development.
  • Self-starter who is action-oriented and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • 2 years of experience in finance or other analytics field
  • ERP required (SAP preferred).

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field required
