Job Description

About Bosch Sensortec

Bosch Sensortec develops and markets key technologies in consumer electronics – micro-electromechanical sensors (MEMS), solutions and systems for smartphone applications, tablets, video game consoles, wearables, and the Internet of things. The sensors enable devices to recognize their surroundings and to transmit the data collected. MEMS are therefore part of the foundation for a networked world. Bosch Sensortec is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch.

Bosch Sensortec is looking forward to your application!

At our Finland development centers in Oulu and Espoo, we are pioneering SoC MEMS+ASIC solutions for a diverse range of consumer and industrial applications. As the group leader of our analog and mixed-signal verification teams, you will directly influence our technical roadmap and the success of our projects.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading and Mentoring Expert Teams: You manage your team, track project execution, provide career paths and support team members in their day-to-day activities. You take responsibility, lead with your own example and walk an extra mile for the team’s success.
  • Contribute to Projects at Technical Level: You leverage your senior-level experience in analog/AMS design to act as a key technical consultant. You work alongside lead engineers, contributing to critical design decisions and helping to overcome the toughest technical hurdles.
  • Drive Strategic Collaboration: You act as a vital link between our Finnish sites and global design centers. You build strong relationships, align on technical strategy, and remove roadblocks and technical silos to ensure seamless, multi-site project success.
  • Innovate Our Methods and Tools: You see beyond the current project. You will partner with tool vendors and internal experts to identify and implement next-generation workflows, ensuring our teams remain at the cutting edge of efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications

What We Look For:

  • Proven Technical Expertise: You have a successful track record in the industry as a Senior or Lead Analog/AMS Design Engineer. Your deep technical knowledge is the foundation of your leadership.
  • Leadership Potential: While previous management experience is a strong plus, we value naturally inspiring leaders who create trust and can guide a team toward ambitious goals.
  • A Collaborative and Adaptive Mindset: You excel in an international, interdisciplinary environment and have a talent for uniting people with different working styles to achieve a common goal.
  • Strategic Focus: You are committed to meeting project milestones while also thinking holistically about how to improve processes for design, verification, and testing.
  • Qualifications: A degree (M.Sc., B.Sc., or Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with proficient English language skills.

Additional Information

We offer:

We offer an exciting career opportunity with competitive benefits and compensation within a leading international company at the forefront of technological innovation. A hybrid work arrangement is possible and can be discussed further with management.

Please note:

This role may be based in either our Espoo or Oulu office. Although the position will ultimately be filled in only one location, we encourage you to indicate your preferred site during the recruitment process. Please submit only one application, regardless of your chosen location.
