Your role:

  • Executes small to medium projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and resource constraints, potentially reusing existing solutions for faster development, managing a specific sub-section of a larger project to ensure alignment with overall goals, or leading small to medium projects on existing products (medical devices) in the portfolio.

  • Leads design change efforts actively, and establishes influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders, cultivating effective working connections, working under general supervision.

  • Provides and implements design projects within agreed-upon specifications, timelines, budgets, and staffing, managing a cross functional project team.

  • Develops a foundational understanding of project management methodologies, relevant organizational structures, and end-to-end processes, applying basic planning methods and estimation techniques (resources, time, and risk) specific to the design discipline.

  • Leads the project teams and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution, tracking progress against milestones, identifying, and mitigating potential risks through proactive planning, and escalating issues to senior management when necessary to ensure timely resolution.

  • Plans the project by developing detailed project plans that define project scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation, including estimating resource needs, identifying potential dependencies, and outlining clear communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed.

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date project documentation including project plans, meeting minutes, and status reports, ensuring transparency and facilitating knowledge transfer for future project phases or team members to quickly understand project context and progress.



You're the right fit if: (4 x bullets max)

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Science/Software)

  • Results-oriented working style and mindset of a strong team player

  • 3+ years of Experience in project management and leading teams, e.g. through facilitating workshops or leading projects

  • Knowledge of programs and project management tools

  • Understanding of systems engineering and development processes

  • Ability to plan and organize multiple work streams, to drive projects and change initiatives; Self-dependent, well organized, methodical and aiming for high quality standards

  • Fluent in English

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
