In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of real estate development projects by ensuring all necessary licenses, permits, and technical approvals are obtained in compliance with urban and environmental legislation. You will act as a key interface between internal teams, external consultants, and public authorities, helping to reduce regulatory risks and accelerate project approvals. The position involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, from early land studies through project execution and delivery. You will also contribute to strategic decision-making by identifying regulatory risks, proposing mitigation strategies, and ensuring legal and technical security for developments. This is a highly collaborative and detail-oriented environment, where your work directly impacts project feasibility, timelines, and overall business success.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will oversee and support all legal and technical aspects of project legalization, ensuring compliance and smooth approval processes across multiple stages. Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing urban and environmental legislation to define project guidelines and identify risks in land acquisition and development processes.
- Managing the full licensing cycle with public agencies (municipalities, environmental bodies, and regulatory institutions), ensuring timely approvals for launches and construction.
- Coordinating third-party consultants for technical studies, validating deliverables, and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring environmental license conditions and ensuring compliance throughout construction phases in collaboration with engineering and execution teams.
- Supporting internal teams (product, engineering, legal, finance, and sales) with technical documentation, approvals, and regulatory insights.
- Reviewing technical materials such as incorporation documents, area frameworks (NBR), sales materials, and legal contracts to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Managing budgets, timelines, suppliers, and technical documentation related to licensing and project approval processes.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has strong technical and regulatory knowledge combined with excellent organizational and communication skills to navigate complex approval processes. You should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
- Experience with urban and/or environmental legislation and real estate licensing processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Google Earth.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, manage multiple stakeholders, and track complex regulatory workflows.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive communication and ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- (Desirable) Knowledge of Project software and additional experience with regulatory approvals or real estate development cycles.
