Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analista de Compras SR (Gbarbosa) - Salvador/BA based in Brazil.

This role supports purchasing operations for the Hygiene and Cleaning category, helping ensure products are available in distribution centers at the right time and in the right quantities.
You will monitor replenishment, purchasing requests, orders, pricing discrepancies, and inventory levels to support efficient commercial decisions.
The position combines analytical work, supplier interaction, reporting, and close collaboration with the category buyer.
Your insights will help optimize sales, margins, competitiveness, and inventory performance across the operation.
You will also contribute to commercial agreements, supplier and product registrations, and the continuous improvement of purchasing parameters.
The role is suited to an organized and analytical professional who enjoys working with data, suppliers, and retail operations.

Accountabilities:

    • Support the category buyer in the preparation and issuance of commercial agreements for Hygiene and Cleaning products.
    • Manage, monitor, and follow up on regular and promotional purchase orders, ensuring they are progressing according to established deadlines and requirements.
    • Review purchasing exceptions and replenishment parameters, making adjustments or escalating issues when necessary.
    • Generate, monitor, and analyze reports and key purchasing and inventory indicators.
    • Identify and support the resolution of product availability issues, including excess inventory at stores and distribution centers.
    • Participate in meetings with suppliers, supporting discussions related to orders, availability, commercial conditions, and operational matters.
    • Monitor and investigate price discrepancies, ensuring that purchasing and commercial information remains accurate.
    • Analyze purchase requisitions and provide relevant information to support purchasing decisions.
    • Support the maintenance and accuracy of supplier, product, and commercial agreement records.
    • Provide data and operational insights that help the purchasing team achieve sales, margin, inventory, and competitiveness objectives.
    • Requirements:

      • Completed bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education qualification.
      • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
      • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work with reports, indicators, purchasing data, and inventory information.
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow up on pending activities, and work with deadlines.
      • Good communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
      • Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in orders, prices, inventory information, and purchasing records.
      • Previous experience in retail is desirable.
      • Knowledge of retail products and commercial operations is desirable.
      • Proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented approach to problem solving.
