Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate testing activities across software and hardware integration projects;
  • Define test strategies, test plans, and schedules for both manual and automated testing;
  • Perform manual and automated testing of software systems and their interaction with Miele and third-party devices
  • Design, implement and maintain test cases for system-/E2E testing and regression testing, manual and automated tests both;
  • Ensure verification and traceability of requirements through comprehensive test coverage;
  • Collaborate with development, hardware, quality and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables;
  • Monitor and report on test progress, defects, and quality metrics;
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and documentation;
  • Mentor and support QA and Dev team members;
  • Participate in release planning and risk assessment.

Must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing with at least 1 year in a lead or coordination role and a proven “Track-Record/Reference Projects” in the area of QA for IoT-Applications as well as in DevOps-Teams;
  • Experience with manual testing of software and embedded systems;
  • Strong understanding of the full testing lifecycle and methodologies;
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr, Azure DevOps);
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar);
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with performance, security, or mobile testing;
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java);
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies;
  • ISTQB certification or similar;
  • Experience with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).

Education:

  • Certifications in software testing (ISTQB, CSTE, or similar) are an advantage.
