We are seeking a motivated Anaesthetic Technician to join our Cardiac Catheter Theatre team. Working alongside leading Cardiologists,
Anaesthetists and a highly experienced multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Join a growing and highly specialised Cardiac Catheter Theatre service and work alongside leading cardiac specialists delivering advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures. Support the clinical and operational delivery of Anaesthetic services within Cardiac Catheter Theatre.
Prepare, maintain and troubleshoot specialised anaesthetic equipment and monitoring systems.
Assist Anaesthetists and the multidisciplinary team during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition throughout procedures.
Maintain safe, efficient and effective peri-procedural care for patients.
Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, patient safety and continuous improvement.
Support the introduction and evaluation of new equipment and technologies where required.
Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience as an Anaesthetic Technician within an acute healthcare facility.
Knowledge of advanced anaesthetic equipment, monitoring techniques and emergency management protocols.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity environment supporting complex cardiac procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to build strong relationships across the multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
Australian working rights (we are currently unable to offer sponsorship).
Availability to participate in an on-call roster.
Willingness to meet vaccination and immunisation requirements in line with hospital infection prevention and control standards.
