
Job Title: Veterinary Anaesthetist
Location: Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists, Hampshire
Job Type: Permanent. Part-Time
Hours: 3 days per week, 1:4 weekends and 1 night per week on-call. Days/hours can be flexible
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Anaesthetist to join our team of three ECVAA diplomates and two ECVAA residents. The successful candidate will work with us to provide anaesthesia and pain management for our medical and surgical caseload and will have an interest in chronic pain.

Since 2006, we’ve been one of the country’s leading veterinary specialist referral hospitals with vets and their teams caring for small animals every day. We joined Linnaeus and the wider Mars Veterinary Health Group in 2022.
Our dedicated vets, nurses and nursing assistants, supported by the administrative teams, are committed to providing the highest quality surgical and medical care for pets. We accept referrals for Orthopaedic Surgery, Soft Tissue Surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, Dentistry, Cardiology, Anaesthesia, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging, Oncology and Physiotherapy. We have comprehensive and established clinical and non-clinical programmes for training, development and CPD.
We have an on-site MRI (Phillips 1.5T), CT (64-slice Siemens Somatom Perspective), two Ultrasound machines (GE S8 and S7), Fluoroscopy (Philips Zenition 50) and digital radiography (stationary and mobile FUJI DR systems).
You can find us in Hampshire, just south of Winchester, close to the M3 and national and international transport links. We are in a serene countryside setting with state-of-the-art facilities and are available to look after pets 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
