This is a full-time position requiring weekend availability.

To be able to run the wash floor to the standards of the department and Hotel
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Load and unload washers for a 10-hour shift
- Sort and get loads ready to be washed
- Clean linen up off the ramp going to the laundry
- Keep the wash are in order and clean
- Attend departmental meetings.
- Follow AHC handbook policies and standard operating procedures.
- Actively working, always looking for ways to assists guests and going above and beyond to provide guest service.
- Ensuring the quality and level of service that the General Manager, Manager on Duty, Laundry Manager and Supervisor expect is excellent and follows our company standards and policies.
- Reads or listens to Daily Beat.
- Reads and understands all memos that pertain to the valet parking department.
- Uses other AHC hotels and staff as resources.
- Complete all daily responsibilities/cleaning task list.
- Load and unload washer
- Sort and prepare loads to be washed
- Maintain a clean and organized area
- Follow our hotel green policies.
- Ensure trash/recyclables are taken out.
- Follow AHC guest service standards.
- Actively work with department staff, while following all departmental rules.
- Any other additional responsibilities that may be asked by General Manager, Guest Care Manager, Manager on Duty or Supervisor.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must be able to work a 10 hr. shift running the washers

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Related experience is preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate:
- Is regularly required to stand and walk a 10 hr. shift
- Is required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects
- Is required to frequently reach with hands and arms
- Is regularly required to talk or hear
- Is occasionally required to sit and stoop; kneel, and crouch
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
