We are seeking a hands-on and motivated Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) Integrator to design, deploy and optimize autonomous mobile robot solutions in customer environments. This role combines software integration, robotics engineering, and customer engagement to seamlessly integrate AMR systems into real-world workflows.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in AMR platforms with strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop software solutions and architecture for integrating various AMR technology platforms together into one turn-key system
• Lead deployment and commissioning of AMR systems at customer sites
• Configure robots, fleet software, and supporting systems (networking, charging, safety)
• Perform site mapping, map design, and workflow setup using platform tools
• Integrate AMRs with customer systems (PLCs, APIs, MES, WMS, ERP)
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and integration issues across multi-robot environments
• Optimize workflows, traffic management, and system performance using operational data
• Collaborate with the other disciplines during design and debug of new hardware solutions
• Contribute to product requirements based on lessons learned and market needs
• Conduct system testing, including functionality, safety, and performance validation
• Train customers on operation, configuration, and best practices
Qualifications
Required:
• Diploma or degree in Robotics, Engineering, Software or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5+ years in robotics, automation, or systems integration
• Basic experience with industrial networks (IP configuration / Wi-Fi), Linux, and scripting (Python or similar)
• Experience with PLCs (Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens)
• Familiarity with fleet management software and robot configuration
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills both in software and electro-mechanical systems/subsystems
Preferred:
• Integration experience with one or more AMR platforms (Omron, MiR, OTTO) or AGV systems
• Knowledge of LiDAR navigation and localization techniques
• Experience in warehouse or industrial manufacturing automation
• Experience with APIs and data integration
• Integration experience with MES/WMS systems

Working Conditions
• Travel (North America) required (up to 30%) for on-site deployments and support

The expected compensation range for this position is $36.25 - $47.31. This range includes base pay and target variable pay. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We also consider internal equity to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. This range reflects the expected full compensation range for the role; most offers will fall within the range and not at the maximum in order to allow for future growth
