As an AMO Mechanic , you will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, repairing and refurbishing a variety of mechanical equipment used in our operations. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and operational readiness while working alongside an experienced team.

As an AMO Mechanic , you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and repairing diesel-driven units, nitrogen units, fluid pumps, compressors, and associated equipment.
  • Conducting routine mechanical inspections, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Preparing, rigging up, and function testing equipment prior to mobilization.
  • Refurbishing equipment through mechanical repairs, welding, painting, and component replacement.
  • Reviewing assembly, disassembly, and testing procedures to ensure equipment performance and reliability.
  • Maintaining equipment records and supporting quality assurance and maintenance programs.
  • Inspecting parts and equipment to determine repair, replacement, or refurbishment requirements.
  • Working safely and in compliance with Baker Hughes HS&E policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have knowledge of mechanical operating procedures and maintenance processes.
  • Have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have a High School Diploma and a Mechanical certification or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Hold a valid driver's licence.
  • Be able to communicate effectively in English.
