Job Description

Base pay $20/ hour or Negotiable based on experience

Plus $3.00 /hour perfect attendance bonus

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems
• Maintain condenser water chemical systems.
• Maintain refrigeration, cooling tower, and logbooks
• Updates Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in support of preventive & corrective maintenance
• Conducts maintenance daily checks, logs, and readings and performs preventive and corrective maintenance
• Performance of duties assigned with focus on safety, quality (of product and task) and GMP’s
• Execute work orders on time as assigned by planner/scheduler, PSM Manager, or other members of management as assigned in proper priority.
• Calibration of any/all equipment and instruments as assigned.
• Responsible for housekeeping of any and all work areas during and following performed work.
• Manage plant utilities systems to include but not limited to the plant refrigeration, HVAC, and water chemical systems.
• Assists in other departmental areas as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must hold Ammonia Operator I or equivalent certification within one year

Skills & knowledge:

• Can perform sensor calibrations, PM’s on Vilter and Frick compressors
• Perform Ammonia pump outs safely
• Micro troubleshooting skills
• Basic Computer Skills
• Communicates work order progress to supervisor.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills.
